Terms of Service

Plucked is a platform that lets hosts of short-term rentals turn objects in their spaces into shoppable listings, and lets guests identify and purchase those objects during a stay. By creating an account or using a guest access code, you agree to these terms.

1. Who we are

Plucked is operated by the Plucked team. Contact us at hello@pluckd.co.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 to create a host account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for anything done under your account.

3. Host responsibilities

• You own or have the right to sell every item you list.
• Your descriptions, photos, and prices are accurate.
• You will ship or fulfill within a reasonable time after a sale.
• You will not list restricted goods (weapons, drugs, live animals, etc.).

4. Guest purchases

A guest purchase creates a contract between the guest and the host. Plucked facilitates the transaction and passes payment through to the host. Support for delivery, condition, and returns is the host's responsibility. Plucked may step in as a mediator when there is a dispute.

5. Fees

Our current pricing is on the host page. Fees may change with 30 days' notice.

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the platform. That means no scraping, no reverse-engineering, no impersonation, no illegal activity, and no attempts to bypass rate limits or security.

7. Content

You keep ownership of photos and text you upload. You grant Plucked a license to display and process that content in order to run the service, including passing it to our AI vision model for identification.

8. Termination

We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms. You can close your account at any time from settings.

9. Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is." AI identification is best-effort and may be wrong. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Changes

We'll post material changes on this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
